Business expert Jayne McGivern joins British Eventing committee

The team at British Eventing are delighted to welcome business woman Jayne McGivern to the Finance Committee.

A keen supporter of Eventing, Jayne has worked as a CEO in the property industry and is a specialist in the strategy, creation, implementation and delivery of high end property schemes of national importance and has a reputation for successfully turning around difficult business situations.

Jayne joins Amanda Ratcliffe, Chris Gillespie, Tim Holderness-Roddam and Phil Smith as the voluntary members of the Finance Committee along with Mike Etherington-Smith, Chief Executive, and Wendy McGowan, Finance Director.

Based in Hope Valley, Derbyshire, Jayne owns event horses with Andrew James and is a keen sports woman, specifically interested in sailing, skiing, athletics and tennis.
Phil Smith, Chairman of the committee, commented: "It is fantastic to have someone with the business expertise and wealth of experience joining the committee. We welcome Jayne to her first meeting in October."

Commenting on her new role Jayne said: "As a keen supporter of eventing I am absolutely delighted to join the committee and hopefully help give something back to the sport I love."
